Cellulites
Cellulites

Deposits of fat and fibrous tissue causing dimpling of the overlying skin..

Cellulite, the word used to describe skin depressions or dimples on a women's thighs, hips and around the buttocks effects over 90% of women regardless of their shape, size or age. The Cellulite's, orange peel appearance tends to worsen with age as the body degeneration process accelerates.

Cellulite is nothing more than irregular fatty deposits made of ordinary fat, so why is this such a problem for women?

The skin has two layers: the epidermis on top and dermis right below, with connective tissue and fat cells underneath.

There are two factors that predispose women to Cellulite.
First, a women's dermis is thinner than men's and thins even more with age, making it a weak barrier between the top layer of skin and underlying fat.
Second, the structure of fat cells does not present equal opportunity for both men and women.

In men, the fat is anchored by an efficient crisscross-style network of tissue below the dermis. If you pinch a man's thigh it will usually fold or furrow because the fat moves down away from the skin. Pinch a woman's thigh, and the thigh will quite possibly bulge or pit because she has cylindrical-shaped fat cells that move toward the surface of the skin. Smooth away those lumps and bumps with resistance exercises and supplements such as Nature's Perfect Remedy.

Some medical experts insist that cellulite is simply a fact of life for women and one that's not going to go away. Others, though are more optimistic. They see the problem as one that can be minimized, if not elimianted altogether, with proper diet, supplements and exercise.

Experts claim that a few herbal supplements can stimulate the release of fat and water from cells, improve circulation, enhance muscle building and/or improve skin elasticity by boosting collagen production.

One of the most promising supplements is Gotu Kola, a principle ingredient in Nature's Perfect Remedy. Gotu Kola has been proven to improve circulation by strengthening veins, and also enhances collagen production.

Similarly, Horse Chestnut, another principle ingredient in Nature's Perfect Remedy, is a recognized remedy for circulation problems. In fact a recent review study from the University of Exeter's Department of Complementary Medicine found that horse chestnut seed extract was just as effective as prescription medications.

Some experts also believe that Grape Seed Extract, another ingredient in Nature's Perfect Remedy, can enhancce collagen production.

Exercise is another important factor in the fight against cellulite. Specific muscle building exercises, designed to strengthen those muscles where cellulite is most commonly found, such as leg extensions, leg curls, and leg presses. Also, resistance exercises that work the inner and outer thigh, and hip extensions for the buttocks are all exercises to help reduce cellulite. Cardiovascular training will additionally help witht he reduction of cellulite.

In a recent study, 16 women were given specific muscle building exercises designed to strengthen those muscles where cellulite is most commonly found. After eight weeks of working out three times a week, all of the women said that their cellulite had diminished and 70% of them saw significant reduction.

Ultrasonic measurements showed an average loss of 1.1 inches on the hips, a 1.7mm increase in leg muscle, and a 1.4 mm loss of fat on the the thighs.
